But behavioral health (BH) providers have to dig even deeper because of their unique set of needs.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So before plunging headfirst into a new digital charting solution, BH specialists need to make sure a prospective system has the functionality they\u2019ll need to improve patient outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogtalkradio.com\/practicemanagersolutions\/2013\/11\/06\/ehr-trickery-watch-out-for-emr-sales-hocus-pocus\">Behavioral Health EHR Advocate<\/a> Kristin S. Walker addresses the EHR questions behavioral health providers need to be answered. Are EHRs simplifying or complicating the process?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EHRs offering expert guidance and education for mental health providers help immensely.
