We love this anonymous quote. The Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) also found it relevant enough to include it on their new report on how to improve the way consumers and providers interact financially.<\/p>\n

Members of the HIMSS Revenue Cycle Improvement Task Force<\/strong> shared their vision for rethinking the revenue cycle with the health IT industry at #HIMSS15, the 2015 annual conference in Chicago. If you\u2019re at #HIMSS15, share your thoughts on this new approach at a \u201ccommunity feedback\u201d session from 8:00 \u2013 9:00 on Wednesday, April 15th.<\/p>\n

Patients already play an increasing role in shaping their clinical experience within the overall healthcare system. HIMSS believes it\u2019s time to expand this into the world of money exchange, medical billing and account balances.<\/p>\n

\n* Greater financial transparency throughout the medical experience
