Exactly two years ago we published our first post<\/a> here at PYP. Since then, we\u2019ve covered a seemingly boundless range of topics, added staff writers, and featured contributors across the healthcare gamut. Our goal, though, has remained constant. We want to bring you the latest news in practice management and health IT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For two years running, we\u2019ve been able to realize that goal because of readers like you. So sincerely, thank you for using PYP as your practice resource.<\/p>\n

With that said, we couldn\u2019t possibly disappoint on our birthday week, so we did what we do best: push the envelope with fresh formats and oft-overlooked topics.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s been rumbling in Washington about a bill proposed by Congresswoman Diane Black which looks to create Meaningful Use penalty exemptions for certain physicians<\/strong>. My colleague, Xavier, and I held an email conversation<\/a> about this topic and published it for all to see.<\/p>\n

We also ended up discussing the recently proposed fee for EHR vendors seeking Meaningful Use certification. With such a robust conversation, we drafted\u00a0part two<\/a>.<\/p>\n
