The results were this week\u2019s articles, aimed at keeping you at the forefront of healthcare.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Just last year, the American Board of Medical Specialties chose to <strong>recognize clinical informatics as a certified subspecialty<\/strong>. Bill Hersh, course director of the American Medical Informatics Association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carecloud.com\/continuum\/medical-technology-trends\/clinical-informatics-certification-with-amia-course-director-bill-hersh\/\">provides a better understanding<\/a> of this increasingly popular certification program.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming implementation of the ICD-10 codes has everyone\u2019s full attention. Even so, it\u2019s still essential to stay up to date on other code sets, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carecloud.com\/continuum\/lowdown-healthcare-provider-taxonomy-codes\/\">taxonomy codes<\/a>, that are essential to efficiently running your practice.<\/p>\n<p>82% of physicians want patients to be active in their healthcare through\u00a0EHRs, but only <strong>31% believe patients should have full access to their EHR records<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carecloud.com\/continuum\/electronic-health-records\/patient-access-to-ehrs-how-much-is-too-much\/\">What drives these seemingly contradictory views?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The healthcare industry is booming with entrepreneurship, particularly in technology.
