CareCloud is buzzing this morning amid news of our Stage 2 certification.
More specifically, ONC-ACB testing body Drummond Group has certified that CareCloud Charts, our award-winning electronic health record solution, is now compliant with the Office of the National Coordinator’s (ONC) Complete EHR 2014 criteria, supporting Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2 measures and certified for use by eligible providers to qualify for EHR incentives.
For anyone familiar with EHRs and health IT, our excitement is beyond justified. The announcement is a huge plus for Charts and its users, who in addition to receiving timely incentive payments will benefit from greater ease-of-use and more robust Meaningful Use reporting.

With regards to health IT as an industry, our Stage 2 certification means Charts overcame MU obstacles that have plagued other vendors, such as automated measure calculation for reporting metrics, clinical quality measures and greater interoperability.
All in all, CareCloud Charts’s Stage 2 certification means we’ve taken a giant leap towards the future, helping break down barriers to the electronic exchange of information and improving the welfare of patients across the country. Accordingly, the popping of champagne corks may or not be heard in any of our three offices today. Just a heads up.
