Hello, Internet! First of all, let’s start with an apology: it’s been a little while since we last updated the blog, but not for lack of ! We’ve been extremely busy around here. Between winning IBM SmartCamp Silicon Valley, signing up tons of new clients, and making constant enhancements to our system, we haven’t had a moment to rest. Not that we’re complaining or anything – things are really starting to pick up in the world of healthcare IT, and as always, we’re right on the cutting edge.
This week, we’ll be headed out to San Francisco for the world-famous Health 2.0 Conference 2010. We can’t wait to meet and chat with some of the biggest names in health and technology, and that includes all of our tweeps, too. As one of the premier gatherings for the field of healthcare information technology, Health 2.0 is a hotspot for innovation and upheaval. We all know it as “the leading showcase of cutting-edge technologies in health care, including online communities, search, and lightweight tools for consumers to manage their health and connect to providers online,” but words don’t do justice to the sheer amount of passion this conference attracts. Thought leaders and game changers all over America are mobilizing as we speak to usher in the next evolution of healthcare technology, and we’re included.
The event is being held at the lovely Hilton San Francisco Union Square as part of Health Innovation Week, in conjunction with the HealthCamp San Francisco Bay unconference and the Patients 2.0 conference. Combined with the Health 2.0 Developer’s Challenge held at the Googleplex, this promises to be the most innovative week in healthcare technology all year.
